2 milestones in one day

Violet got to a seated position from lying on her belly. Plus, she crawled FORWARD a foot! She still gets around by boogie-ing backwards, but it was nice to see her knees in action!

Violet pointed today! She'll be 8 months tomorrow. Can't believe it...

Best Big Brother EVER

Violet started waving yesterday!

This weekend Violet became mobile. She tries to crawl and scoots herself backwards, then she rolls. So she goes from one side of the room to the other, usually having her end up under our ottoman.

Daylight Savings

Thank to perverts, etc...Connor's school parade was around the tennis court like they were zoo animals. I guess better safe than sorry, but not too photo-op friendly.

Violet was covered head to toe in rash from a reaction to her costume.

The Haddonfield parade was fun as usual and Uncle Matt (Kane) took Connor out Trick or Treating with Wesley (Spiderman) while I tended to Violet, so at least Connor had fun.

Violet was the perfect traveler. She'd sleep during meals, adjusted to the time change perfectly, loved the daily transportation options and got us to the front of every line! Europe loves babies!

it's been pretty hot here so we haven't been doing too much outdoors. but Violet has decided she can sit around like the best of us.

3 months old

She is 3 months old today! She's hitting all of her milestones and is barely fussy anymore.
