sorry it's been so long

First Steps!

Violet took her first 3 steps today in play class!

Music Class

Violet did 4 things today at Music Together that she has never done before. She stood up on her own and bent her knees up and down "dancing". She shook the maracas and tapped them together along with the teacher. She put the instruments back in the tub at the end of the song and she collected egg shakers and brought them to me!

first lost tooth

he was pretty cute about the Tooth Fairy. he was all into the concept, but at 4am he was distraught she was such a thief! he kept saying, "She took it!" i asked if she had left anything for him in its place, but he didn't care. we decided to write her a letter and ask for it back. but in the morning, he was fine with the trade items.

she also took his pacifier which i thought would be a huge non-sleeping issue. nope. he slept the same as he always does. we'll see how tonight goes. it seems too good to be true. and, it makes me think we should have taken it away years ago.

sorry it has been a while.

we took Connor skiing. he loved it. he wanted to go up, up, up and then down really fast.

Violet is cruising around furniture, momentarily balancing on her own while standing and talking/signing. she says thank you, doggy, mama, dada, juice and good job. she still won't let me leave the room without screaming, but she's giving me a second or two to maybe grab a coat.

trev will need to get the con picture up. per usual, i'm having tech difficulty

over Christmas Violet got 4 teeth!

New Years Eve she started crawling with gusto. she now follows me into the kitchen and opens all the cabinets.

And New Years Day she pulled herself up to a standing position on the barstool i was sitting on and tugged at my nightgown, waving.
